Loved the Green Parrot!
I almost don't want to post this because I want to keep this little slice of heaven a secret!!
My husband, our two tweens and my father-in-law had an absolutely FAN-tastic week-long vacation at the Green Parrot after Christmas this year. The cabanas were lovely and very clean, but the best part was that you are literally steps to the Caribbean Sea (I counted 50 steps from our cabana to my favorite beach chair!). The resort was quiet, pool was refreshing, beach and grounds were clean and manicured and the restaurant had great food and drinks (breakfast, lunch and dinner available) - what more can you ask for! We even had a blast at the onsite New Years Eve party complete with a live band!!
From the moment we pulled into the parking lot after a long journey, the kind and helpful staff took care of everything we needed from booking excursions for us to arranging onsite covid tests before our trip home. Henry, Lesia, Pam, Becky....Thank you so much for such a relaxing and fun vacation - you are all wonderful and we will definitely be back!

Excellent customer service!
I stayed with my family and boyfriend here for Christmas and New Year’s. It was the best experience! The people at the front desk were already waiting for us with a soft drink and the best possible attitude someone can ask for.
The Cabaña was spotless and comfy. Also, the food was excellent.

Green Parrot vacation
A very refreshing vacation. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and updated. The restaurant and bar are open air with a casual relaxed atmosphere. The front office run by Henry made our vacation a worry free relaxing trip. Henry is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, he quickly and efficiently set up our extra activities and tours and saw to our guest needs.
The food and drinks were very tasty, wholesome and well presented, The staff are always kind and energetic, their overall attitude is awesome All in one of the best, most relaxing destination vacations spots we have been to. We are already planning a return vacation. Thank you

My husband and I recently Honeymooned at The Green Parrot and immediately upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the staff with refreshments and big smiles. When we entered our Cabana, we were amazed by the beautiful arrangements and sweet details they had put together for us. The manager mentioned that she noticed on my passport that I was from Hawaii, so she put Hawaiian flowers in our Cabana for me. I just couldn't believe how thoughtful that was. They also noticed that my Husbands Birthday would be during our trip and planned a special dinner with a birthday cake for him. The food, oh man THE FOOD. There wasn't anything on the menu that we didn't like.
I honestly just can't say enough good things about this resort. The whole staff was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our entire stay. They really know how to make their guests feel special. We were so sad to leave because they really made us feel like family. We can't wait to come back.

Wow this place is stunning! Recently had changed owners and management and has been renovated. You can see the passion and love put into this place over the last year. The food and drinks are also great inside the Pelican Pub. They have specials everyday and never disappointed us. To top it off the whole staff was so friendly and made us feel like family. 💙

I cannot say enough good things about the Green Parrot Beach Houses & Resort, the restaurant and the staff! Staying in a beach cabana right on the beach was amazing! The beach was very cleaned and racked daily. Dining was a short walk from each cabana and the food was wonderful. We ate at the restaurant for every meal except for one because the food and drinks were so fresh and very tasty. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable and greeted us by our names. It was a pleasure to get to know the owners of the resort. We truly felt like family.

What a wonderful resort! So beautiful and peaceful! Wonderful rooms right on the most beautiful beach you can imagine! And with such a friendly and helpful staff and delicious food and drinks- just cannot imagine a better place to stay!!

The Green Parrot Beach Resort was such a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend! The staff was amazing and like family. We were treated very special and they took care of all 14 of us in our group. The food and drinks were amazing! Especially the lobster! The rooms were clean, comfortable and so close to the beach. You really don’t need to go elsewhere! We felt very safe. Thank you Green Parrot for taking such good care of us!

Stopped in at the pub, good food, lovely view, likely the liveliest place we have stopped at for an evening meal during our trip. Staff was friendly but definitely in no rush for anything... which gave it a great laid back vibe until we stated approaching curfew and needed to get a bill. Regardless we made it back in time and it was a great experiance. Once things open up again it would be a great place to hang out with a beverage and talk about the days events.

This is our very favorite go to local hang out! Food is always great at breakfast lunch, dinner and floating cocktails with snacks in between.

My favorite meal is 2 cajun shrimp tacos with an order of fries. We had the filet mignon and lobster last weekend and it was fantastic!

Amazing beachside stay
The Green Parrot is a beautiful beachfront property with staff who are kind, friendly and just genuinely care. I was blown away by the amenities included in our stay, beachfront bags set, volleyball court, kayaks, bar, etc. every meal we had at the resort was delicious! We booked our own excursions outside the resort and also had our own car which I would recommend just for the flexibility of enjoying the area affordably (we spent a day at Cockscomb and drove into downtown Placencia multiple times for various meals). Only complaint is that the shower will max temp at very luke warm. On a 90 degree day this would have been welcomed but we happened to be there on a few unseasonably colder days so it was a bit chilly for me. I will say I was shocked to read any negative reviews of this place - especially anything noting bugs. Our unit was lovely, clean and I can’t stress enough - BEACHSIDE. If the occasional bug slipped in, it’s because these are literally cabanas on the beach. It’s a dream destination. In summary, amazing place. Will definitely stay here on our next visit.

If Belize is a hidden gem, the Green Parrot is the perfect place to experience it! My family and I stayed in the beach hut and it was absolutely wonderful. It’s directly on the beach which was gorgeous. The bar and restaurant was delicious. Our excursions were small and personal. We did the snorkeling, monkey river, and Mayan ruins. The snorkeling was my favorite! The trip was the perfect mix of a little adventure and lots of relaxation.

We have a blast at Green Parrot. We were relaxed within hours of arriving. Those hammocks and the orange beach chairs are the best. Mostly, the staff there is great. You are lucky to have them. We enjoyed getting to know them. We also enjoyed hanging out with the guests and even got a couple of board games going in the dining area at night. What a great time. We’ll try to send you some pictures.

How nice is that – I have a new screensaver with my hammock. Was not ready to leave after 12 days and I wish I was back there already!
We had a terrific time there as always – you certainly attract a very nice and friendly clientele – very inclusive. So nice to have all the lucky remaining group come out for the farewells and hugs.
