Tours:

This package includes a one-day tour for two persons to Monkey River village. This is one of our most popular tours. You get a 45-minute boat ride south along the Belize coast to Monkey River village. Then you go up the river where you will see gators, birds, flowers and other wildlife. You will get a guided tour through the jungle, and we hope you will see and hear the howler monkeys. On the way home you stop for lunch in the Monkey River village. Then head back and watch for the dolphins and manatee.

Package 10

Lagoon Beach House

Accommodation:

Green Parrot Beach Houses offers the best of two worlds. You can rent one of our Caribbean beach front cabanas – or your can rent a Lagoon Beach House. The Placencia lagoon offers breathtaking views of the Mayan Mountains to the west and provides wonderful  sunset vistas, great fishing, and is only about a five minute walk to the Green Parrot Restaurant and beach.

The Lagoon Beach House has everything you need to relax and have fun. The Lagoon House sleeps four, with one bedroom upstairs and one bedroom down stairs.  The lower bedroom is separate from the upstairs, and has its own full bathroom and laundry. The  upstairs unit has a full bathroom and kitchen and lovely wrap around veranda.  The Lagoon Beach House has air conditioning and television.

The Lagoon House has its own dock and palapa, and a large private swimming pool, Linens and towels are provided. The House has 1 kayak and 2 bicycles for guest use. While staying at the Lagoon House you can arrange for meals and local tours through the office at the Green Parrot Resort.
